Dr. Julie Digioia’s breast cancer survivors support group for the past 10 years stands as a beacon of hope, providing essential resources, emotional comfort, and a community of individuals who understand the unique struggles faced by survivors.
Breast cancer can be an isolating experience, leaving survivors grappling with feelings of loneliness and anxiety. Dr. Digioia’s support group offers a safe space where survivors can share their stories and experiences. Through regular meetings and open discussions, members find solace in knowing they are not alone. The group encourages mutual support, fostering a sense of camaraderie and understanding that significantly reduces feelings of distress.

Dr. Julie DiGioia is an experienced breast cancer surgeon with an office in Jersey City, New Jersey. She is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Overlook Hospital, Englewood Hospital and Jersey CIty Medical Center.
Dr. DiGioia was born and raised in Jersey City and is a graduate of St. Peter's University and currently serves on its Board of Trustee's. Dr. DiGioia received her medical degree from Sapienza University of Rome and completed her residency at Jersey City Medical Center/UMDNJ.
She practiced general and trauma surgery until 1990 and then concentrated her practice to the care of the breast and breast surgery.
Dr. DiGioia is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Rutgers University RWJ/BH.
She was selected by New Jersey Physicians and Surgeons in a recent poll (October 2020) conducted by Castle Connolly as a "Top Doctor" in surgery. The article was published in NJ Monthly Magazine. Dr. DiGioia has earned this honor for several consecutive years. In addition Dr. Julie was named in NY Magazine as a "Top Doctor in the NY Metro area" - May 2021, 2022 and 2023.
She is Board Certified and a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery with a practice now limited to diseases of the breast.
Dr. Julie herself is a breast cancer survivor. She served as the Medical Director of the Cristie Kerr Women's Health Center, is an advisor to the American Cancer Foundation, and was Chair of the 2017 Susan B. Komen NJ Race for the Cure.
Dr. Julie Serves as an advisory board members of the charity Let's Save Ma and was recently recognized as an "2023 Exceptional Women in Medicine for NJ recipient".

Following his graduation from the University of Southern California, Dr. Hall obtained his MD degree from the University of Bologna, Italy. He trained in General Surgery at Jersey City Medical Center and completed his Plastic Surgery Residency at Columbia University, Harlem Hospital Center.
Dr. Hall is Board Certified by the The American Board of Plastic Surgery and currenrly serves as the Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Jersey City Medical Center.
He is an attending surgeon at the Jersey City Medical Center, Englewood Hospital, Overlook Medical Center,
Dr. Hall is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Medical Society of New Jersey.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Although he practices all aspects of Plastic Surgery (including Hand Surgery), he has a special interest in Breast Reconstruction.
